"I made my family disapear"

While jogging I think...
"So if you haven't noticed the generation of men rising up in the nation, meaning the early to mid twenty demographic, is a non-committal generation. Since the Second World War the moral code for men in America has been on a fierce decline. We have been raised by a generation of men that live in regret of their commitment and in this we see divorce or marriages that have fallen apart from the inside out and yet remain. Yet like father like son we have become less committal than those that raised us."
About the time i made the four mile turn and my legs feel like they have been toting 900 lbs. of lard, in fact i begin to jelly leg it so bad that i become convinced that my legs actually are lard. I realize i have a commitment problem. Two weeks before thanksgiving a friend of mine named jaba the brett mentions his potential participation in a half-marathon at which point i jump on board to experience a couple months of self discipline. Fortunately i have held up my commitment and with 5 weeks to go jaba and I are right on track to complete our goal in early March.
Then came the B.effin.L. Things were great, my role model of a roommate mentions his participation in the body for life program and again I jump on board. The problem with the B.effin.L. is that my diet has changed so drastically that i have been hungry since last Wednesday, i void/urinate every 17 minutes, and for whatever reason a carry around a nine pound bottle of reverse osmosis water.(seriously not sure how that helps)So yeah I have commitment issues. I have over committed myself.
FOOTNOTE
i love that so much support has been forwarded by our teams local community, outside certain individuals that cast doubt upon our success and place wagers on our failure to fulfill thus commitment, we have been showered with support by people that love and care for the Body of Christ and lovingly encourage those men that will be the leaders of the Church, the Husbands and fathers of families, and the disciplined, self-controlled, the unified men that will spread the love of Christ to the Nations.
