Captains Log Day One

I have never been one for trends. I don't enjoy being, having things that other individuals have, or dressing like other individuals. In this I have missed out on a number of items, ideas, and technological advancements such the Xbox or any gaming system due to the fact that i think its geeky and not cool no matter what craygkills64(my old roommate) says. I skipped the Star Wars phenomenon due to its mass popularity and cult following and because i think it is geeky and not cool. Walked out of Lord of the Rings because I think its geeky and not cool.(for the record i walked out of Lord of the Rings during my second attendance of Twin Towers cause no matter how not cool elves are, elves that are masters of archery are not geeky-they are killers.) I have a hard time wearing hats backwards because i am not cool which then makes me geeky, i like tennis shoes and have never been stylish. i have much discomfort about owning a blog like many people that have one im sure due to the "trendiness" of it, however ....uh......shut up. All that said pop culture grabbed a hold of me last year and has infiltrated my every days activity. Thank you mr. ipod(i swear to good crap i'm gonna puke if mac comes up with one more "i"word, which is kind of bound to happen so thats an empty promise.) number 2 i signed up for text messaging over the holiday, it has changed my every moments thought. i no longer submit myself to boredom while involved in activities that usually rendor me stupid with ancyness(?)
